🚌 TRANSPORT - URGENT
🚧 M62 fully closes this Friday night - Tingley to Lofthouse, 9pm Friday to 5am Monday - Motorists across South Leeds and beyond must plan ahead for a full weekend closure of the M62 between Junction 28 (Tingley) and Junction 29 (Lofthouse interchange with the M1), running from 9pm Friday 29 May to 5am Monday 1 June. Official diversions use the M621 and the Ring Road/Dewsbury Road between J1 of the M621 and Tingley. However, the impact will be felt broadly across the South Leeds road network. During Saturday and Sunday peak hours (10am–5pm), National Highways estimate the diversion adds approximately 30 minutes to journey times on the affected stretch.
